NewJeans has been selected as the global ambassador for the global denim brand Levi's®.

As soon as they debuted in July of last year, New Jeans gained a syndrome-like popularity with 'Attention' and 'Hype boy', and successive hits with 'Ditto' and 'OMG'.

"We are honoured and thrilled to partner with Levi's®, a timeless brand that represents the world's most iconic pair of jeans while also looking towards the future," New Jeans said.

An official from Levi's® said, "As we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the birth of 501®, we prepared a meeting with New Jeans as the first step to appeal our brand identity to the GenZ generation. As we have free and hip sensibility and bright energy, as a brand ambassador, we plan to do various performances and interesting work together."

Meanwhile, Levi's® is preparing for a live performance in Seoul with New Jeans in commemoration of the 501® day on May 20, 1873, when the patent for the riveted jeans was granted.
