NewJeans' Songwriters & Director for their new Winter Comeback

[Newsen Reporter Lee Min-ji] Special people gathered for the new single album of NewJeans.


New Jeans (Minji, Hanni, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) produced music videos for both two songs in the single album 'OMG' which will be released on January 2nd, which was directed by Director Shin Woo-seok of Dolphiners Films. The lyricists participated in B-side song ‘Ditto’ was Black Skirts and OOHYO.


Producer Min Hee-jin said, "The music video for the pre-released song 'Ditto', which will be released on the 19th, contains an unexpected story unfolded by Bunnies (official fan club name) and New Jeans. A cameo that makes a surprise appearance in the unique direction of the Dolphiners Films and a fresh combination of a Black Skirts and OOHYO will be added to present a new charm.”


The Dolphiners Films is a film and advertising studio established in 2007. To participate and film a music video for NewJeans was a first. They are known as a company that breaks stereotypes and produces original content, and has won major awards at prestigious film festivals and advertising festivals at home and abroad, such as 'Cannes International Advertising Festival', 'New York Festival', 'Palm Springs International Shortfest', and 'Korea Advertising Awards'.


The three-dimensional production of 'Ditto', which was produced in two parts, connected to the first and second parts, along with the 'OMG' music video, which shows off its creative ideas, will provide cinematic fun to the viewers.


In addition, both Black Skirts and OOHYO are artists who have built their own genres with unique sensibilities, raising expectations for 'Ditto' where they participated in writing the lyrics. 

In addition, Hanni wrote the lyrics for the title song 'OMG' and Minji participated in the lyrics for the b-side song 'Ditto'.


New Jeans will pre-release 'Ditto' on the 19th and release the single album 'OMG' on January 2nd.
